Just brainstorming, but we could go through the process next month and
call it PL08, and do PL09 next fall, i.e., shift the selection to the
END of the year rather than before the START of the year.  PL07 was
the "best of the best" in the fall of 2006, not 2007.  A lot of awards
are given out at the end of the year, and if we shift, it would save a
lot of future explaining about the gap.  Think of the confusion about
Pricelessware.org and Pricelesswarehome.org.

Another possibility is to call the selection "Pricelessware 2008-2009"

As for the rules, it would be quicker to use the established rules for
this selection, but agree to consider streamlining the rules for next
year shortly after the current selection is finalized.

I'd be willing to share the load with what needs to be done as long as
someone else is handing out the work assignments.
